How to Use Interaction Styles to Move from Friction to Flow
Four Interaction Styles

How to Recognize Styles

Style Characteristics Activity
- Move to the breakout room that corresponds to your predominant style today.
- Discuss the chief characteristics of that style.
- As a small group, select no more than three tips for how others can leverage the strengths of your style for the benefit of the entire group.
- Prepare to present your tips to the large group. Presentation should be 90 seconds or less.
Leadership Activity
- Imagine that you will be leading a group where people have strong and opposite styles (for example, high amiable and high driving).
- How would you help this diverse group work well together?
- Take several minutes to silently jot your ideas, then be prepared to verbally share and discuss.
